In spring 2009 I am to start my own group at Bar Ilan University in Ramat Gan, Israel. It is going to be called the "Systems Biomedicine Lab".
Right now, I am a postdoctoral fellow at the NIH, at the NCI Center for Bioinformatics (NCICB), under Ken Buetow.
My postdoc work makes use of signaling pathway knowledge in cancer diagnosis and prognosis, with the careful use of such techniques to understand more about basic mechanisms of tumor formation. I did my Ph.D. at the Weizmann Institue in Rehovot, Israel, under Prof. David Harel from Computer Science and Prof. Irun Cohen from Immunology. My work was a Reactive Animation simulation of the development of thymocytes in the thymic lobule. More information is in the "Research" pages.
